Expeditionary warfare involves rapidly deployable military forces operating overseas and away from their bases. StucanSolutions will participate in applied research, advanced technology development, demonstration and validation and operational systems development in support of the U.S. Army Research Laboratory, U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), and other government agencies that are involved with expeditionary warfare technology research.

U.S. Navy SeaPort-e

Stucan Solutions is one of more than 1,800 SeaPort-e contractors providing professional services and support to U.S. Navy Systems Commands, including NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP, as well as the Office of Naval Research, the United States Marine Corps, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). SeaPort-e is the Navy’s electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including engineering, financial management, and program management. The SeaPort-e portal provides a standardized, efficient means of soliciting offers from the diverse population of large and small businesses and their approved team members. All task orders are competitively solicited, awarded, and managed using the SeaPort-e platform.

New Jersey State Specialized Training Services

Stucan Solutions has been awarded New Jersey State Police (NJSP) Specialized Training for law enforcement organizations within the State. The training and courses are highly specialized for units listed below:

  1. Arson Bomb;
  2. Canine;
  3. Technical Emergency and Mission Specialist (T.E.A.M.S);
  4. Urban Search and Rescue;
  5. Office of Emergency Management;
  6. Electronic Surveillance;
  7. Marine Services;
  8. Aviation; and
  9. Hazardous Material Response Unit (Hazmat).

There are also various specialized units that fall under Specialized Operations and Special Investigations.

The NJSP currently has over 4,000 members, both enlisted and civilian. Members involved in the above-mentioned specialized areas are required to undergo consistent and recurring training to maintain the most up-to-date certifications, information, and tactics to complete their respective cases and missions.

System of Systems Consortium (SOSSEC)

Stucan Solutions is on the SOSSEC OTA which is a DOD contract vehicle for technology partners and innovation development.

SOSSEC, Inc. currently manages the System of Systems Consortium (SOSSEC), an organization comprised of over 700 members, as well as the Sensors, Communications, and Electronics Consortium (SCEC) which is comprised of over 300 members.  SOSSEC, Inc. was awarded its first OTA in 2009 and has managed twelve OTAs to date. SOSSEC, Inc currently manages eight OTAs.  SOSSEC, Inc. has successfully completed more than 250 OTA projects.

SOSSEC Inc. exists to manage consortium-based OTAs by providing the expertise and infrastructure required to effectively and efficiently manage the OTA project life cycle. The SOSSEC Consortium was specifically formed to address the needs of the Department of Defense (DoD). It was founded on a simple concept: that collaboration, innovation, and cooperation among a broad spectrum of industry, academia, and non-profit entities is necessary for delivering top-quality service and innovative technology solutions to clients.
